Easy play-dough recipe using our Pure Opal Eco Glitter

Something crafty for you lovely lot over Easter. Our easy playdough recipe using our Pure Opal Glitters.

Easy eco glitter play-dough

• Prep Time: 5 mins

• Cook Time: 5 mins

• Cool Time: 20 mins

Ingredients:

✨ 1 cup flour

✨ 2tsp Cream of Tartar

✨ 1/2 cup salt

✨ 1 cup water

✨ 1tbsp cooking oil

✨ Food Colouring

✨ 4ml Opal Pure glitters (we used a bit more than that!)

✨ Few drops of your favourite essential oil. We used Lavender.

How to make:

1. In a large bowl, combine all of your dry ingredients (flour, salt, cream of tartar) and mix well.

2. Add the vegetable oil, water and food colouring to a large pot. Mix together.

3. Add the dry ingredients to your pot and mix well.

4. Add the essential oil.

5. Cook over low to medium heat until the dough starts to form and becomes dry.

6. Once it starts to form a ball together and looks fully cooked, take off the heat. Let the dough cool first for around 20mins before touching.

7. Once cool, knead the dough for 5 minutes to make the dough soft. Then sprinkle on the glitter.

8. Store in a jar to prevent it from going dry
