We know things have been getting pretty scary the last few days and glitter may be the last thing on your mind, but we need your help.
Food Banks
Like everyone else, we were feeling pretty helpless here at EGF HQ, and asked for ideas to help our community through these challenging times.
There were many great ideas but the easiest, quickest and most effective to implement was to create a special blend of our glitter to help raise money for a charity in need,
Overwhelmingly you told us that food banks were struggling due to the crisis. After a close poll, The Trussell Trust was chosen by you as the charity, we will be giving them 25% of the sales of our new Solidarity blend.
The Trussell Trust is a UK based NGO and charity that works to end the need for food banks in the UK. It supports a network of over 1,200 food bank centres to provide emergency food and compassionate, practical support to people in crisis, while campaigning for long-term change to the structural issues that lock people into poverty.
