Is there anything quite as uplifting as a Spring wedding in May?
How about a spring wedding with an eco-vibe and guilt-free sparkles for all?!
Well, that’s exactly what bride-to-be Tanzie and her groom, Rich had in mind. The couple both share a love of festivals, the great outdoors and a commitment to living an eco-friendly life - our kinda people. So when we were invited to add the guilt-free sparkles to their dream eco-wedding in Somerset, we couldn’t get our RSVP sorted fast enough.
The wedding took place on 25th May and the sun was shining from the start. We arrived at Tanzie’s family home, Knapp House, which was rocking the eco-festival vibe through and through, from banging tunes and vegan food to compostable loos and recycling bins.
We started off by setting up our wedding glitter bar and started adding wedding day sparkle to the bridesmaids. As the girls got down to the serious business of having their hair done (with plenty of bubbles of course), we got to take a peek at their outfits; a delicate white lace dress for the young flower girl, but something a little different for older bridesmaids… sequin playsuits by RosaBloom!
We’d seen the pics online (check out rosabloom.com for major sequin-swoon) but wow these handmade sequin playsuits were stunning in the flesh.
To complement the stunning outfits we applied a half-moon on the face with our Merry-go-round blend of glitter, a dash of vanna, aqua, rosa, and aurelie uber chunky and a sprinkle of silver uber disco ball glitter blend to highlight the adults collar bones.

The real show-stopping stuff was of course reserved for the Bride. Tanzie was more than happy for us to accentuate her beautiful backless wedding dress with a dusting of our gorgeous mermaid, pinks, turquoise and gold blends of glitter on her back. The whole look was enhanced further with her stunning back drop necklace.
After the ceremony (yes, there were tears!), we set about sharing the guilt-free sparkle love with the rest of the guests. We even left a mini glitter station when we left, which meant the guests could have free reign on glittering themselves and others.
As an eco-conscious brand we were seriously impressed to see the lengths that Tanzie and Rich had gone to, to make sure their wedding was kind on the environment. They’d made careful choices that supported their beliefs including our guilt-free biodegradable glitter, vegan food, zero plastic, recycling bins, and even that eco-festival favourite – a composting toilet.
Here's more pics from this amazing eco-Festival wedding.
At Eco Glitter Fun we’re lucky to get to work with some amazing brands at some seriously cool events, but being asked to be a part of this wedding was a real privilege. Tanzie and Rich proved that looking fantastic and throwing an epic party on your wedding day doesn’t have to cost the earth, and for that, we salute them!
We hope they enjoyed their longboat honeymoon on the Monmouth and Brecon canals and we wish them every happiness!
