Why should you learn to be an eco glitter artist?
Since Covid, we have found there has been a bit of a glitter explosion with more and more people wanting that extra bit of sparkle at their celebrations. Festival style glitter makeup is always a popular choice as it's suitable for all ages and much quicker than face painting.
Many of our students learn just for themselves as they love glitter, others wish to add it to their current services, especially people who have hair or beauty salons or host pamper or kids parties. Some students just want to learn how to confidently and safely glitter their children and children's friends. Even if you don't wish to make money directly from learning, it's skill which you will be able to use for many years to come.
The session itself is super fun, in relaxed and creative environment with fellow glitter addicts! What's not to love!
What will you learn in the training?
We have designed this course to offer a comprehensive understanding of glitter makeup application, safety, techniques and tools that will allow you to confidently create glitter looks with Eco Glitter Fun products. During the session, you'll learn directly from our Founder, Sophie Awdry, who has not only glittered thousands of people, she has also trains dozens of glitter artists. She has 6 years experience in working at all types of events, some may say she's a glitter expert!
Also covered is a range of topics including environmental considerations, trends and legislation that relate to glitter makeup and working in this industry. Sophie also provides insights and business advice for how to get experience and even secure your first paid gigs!
So whether you're looking for a new hobby, want to add a unique offering to your business or just want to make sure your glitter is environmentally friendly, then this is the course for you!

Who is the course for? Do I need any experience?
No prior experience is necessary to take part in this course. It's the perfect introduction to all things eco-friendly glitter. All levels of ability are welcome and Sophie offers one-on-one help and feedback during the session, answering any questions you may have. With a small, intimate group of six trainees on each course, you can network with like-minded people and still get the focused training you need. Even if you aren't a beginner we guarantee you will learn some golden nuggets of glittery information you didn't know about before!
How long is the training?
In this jam-packed two hour session you will be provide all the essential knowledge needed to work at any type of event. There will be demos from Sophie plus you will get to glitter Sophie and the other students.
You'll have notes to take home after the session, as well as a downloaded version of the same notes so you can refer to them at a later date. Questions are welcome and encouraged throughout the session and afterwards you'll still be able to message Sophie whenever you need additional help or advice. You can reach out for weeks, months, or even years after the training has ended.
