Well, what can we say, another fantastic summer of sunshine, festivals and meeting thousands of eco glitter crazy revellers! We feel so lucky to have been a part of your summer festival experiences this year. We have pitched up our eco glitter bar at some of the world’s biggest and best music festivals. We’ve glittered so many faces, bums, boobs, beards and bodies – it couldn’t have been a better Summer. Roll on 2019!
Before the winter sets in, let’s take a quick look back on Eco Glitter Funs’ Summer of 2018..
We are FSTVL
Warming up our summer in the UK was ‘We are FSTVL’, the festival for hardcore party goers. This one saw us cutting off jeans at the knee.. who knew that was a thing hey, oh and we planted a shed loads of eco glitter all over people.
Latitude Festival
Heading to Suffolk in the UK, we worked alongside ‘We are Lavish’ at Latitude Festival, an amazing family friendly event. Some of the wonderful people getting their glitter on was the BBC introducing performers & the lovely Zoe Ball. We loved this festival for its laid back, quirky atmosphere, AMAZING food and the fact that the children were queueing for their eco glitter fix before we were even open!
Neverworld
Then, there was Neverworld, the Kent UK based, multi-award winning immersive festival which delivered acts such as Bastille, Clean Bandit & hundreds more. It’s a small boutique festival which delivers A LOT. We absolutely loved the Miami Beach arena, where we had the pleasure of seeing all our glittery faced creations dancing and enjoying themselves.
Defected Croatia
In August we had the huge ‘Defected Croatia’ - a 5 day festival in Tisno, Croatia. Seeing our gorgeous glitter sparkling in the sunshine on House Music loving DJs, organisers, the main man himself - Simon Dunmore and his family, The Ravishing Raven and all the festival goers was a dream come true for us. It was an unforgettable experience and we can’t wait for Defected Croatia 2019 … have you got your tickets yet?!
Creamfields
Our glitter bar then travelled to Liverpool in the UK, to the iconic Creamfields. Here, we sloshed in mud (we admit we did sneak off to a hotel) whilst sprinkling guilt free sparkles on hardcore ravers. It’s a dance festival for serious party goers, we loved it and the production was amazing – well done Creamfields.
Wonderland
Finally, our crazy summer was rounded up by the weird and wonderful, ‘Wonderland Festival’. Based in London UK, it’s a not-for-profit event run by an organisation which has raised over £31,000 for charity since 2007. Super fun to be part of and a great end to our glittery summer shenanigans.
Summer, you’ve been a blast … until next year.
